As a key equipment in grinding operations, ball mills are an essential grinding process on mineral processing production lines, and there is a significant problem in the dust process. It is very necessary and effective to provide a dust collector for the ball mill. Dust operation not only affects the working environment of the ball mill, but also seriously endangers the health of the workers. As the final stage of the ball mill to complete the grinding work, the dust removal of Jiaye ball mill directly affects the overall effect of the grinding operation.

It is understood that traditional ball mills are equipped with primary dust removal devices, and the dust removal effect can only reach about 60%. From the perspective of environmental protection, such dust removal effect cannot satisfy enterprises. With the gradual increase of people's environmental awareness, the dust removal effect has also attracted more and more attention from enterprises. Therefore, it is imperative to improve the dust removal effect of the ball mill and equip the ball mill equipment with secondary dust removal.

Which form of dust collector would have a better effect? After multiple research experiments, our company has decided to use a cyclone dust collector as the primary dust removal device and a water dust collector as the secondary dust removal device. After this measure was implemented, the effect was immediate, and the dust removal efficiency of the ball mill equipment increased from the traditional 60% to around 94%. After adopting two-stage dust removal, the ball mill continuously recovers a large amount of dust substances, improves the working environment hygiene of the equipment, and also reduces the work of handling dust. However, when using two-stage dust removal in the dust collector of the ink mill, there are still some precautions that need to be taken into account.

One is that the flashing valve at the bottom of the ash hopper of the group cyclone dust collector should be well sealed to ensure that there is no air leakage. Otherwise, this will have a significant impact on the efficiency of dust removal.

Secondly, we should adopt insulation measures for the modular cyclone dust collector to avoid the formation of condensed water inside the dust collector, which may affect the dust removal effect of the equipment.
